Created in 1985, the Challenge Philippe Roux is Verbier's race of the year. A giant slalom open to everyone, from the youngest to adults, on the Savoleyres slopes.
Athletes who matter in Swiss skiing today took their first start here: Camille Rast and Tanguy Nef went through these gates when they were your age. This is often where the love of racing begins.
The disciplines and the slope announced may still change depending on conditions.
In the weeks before, we work on the start, the line through the gates and reading the course, with timed runs.
On the day, an instructor inspects the course with your child before the start to give the final advice.
We are there at the start and at the finish, to cheer you on.
Train with us during the week and take part in your first race.

The Challenge is open to everyone, Team member or not, with no prior training required.
Minimum age 5, parallel skiing required.
