What can you expect as a Ski Team member?
Has your child finished the Swiss Snow Academy classes, or are you looking for a flexible, all-round programme? Our aim is that they enjoy coming to ski and progress in varied situations (gates, moguls, piste, powder, trees and more), so they become complete skiers.
On top of that, our racing side lets them take part in regional races, without the pressure of attending every session.
Which disciplines does the Ski Team cover?
Freeride, technique, freestyle, an introduction to off-piste safety, racing, and trips to other resorts.
How long has the Ski Team been running?
The Ski Team Philippe Roux has been running since 2008.

What level is required to join?
We ask for a parallel skiing level.
Can you join the Ski Team mid-season?
Yes, you can join during the season, subject to available places. Get in touch with us.
The training sessions
Training days for the 26/27 season?
Sessions (3 hours) are guaranteed in the morning, from 09:00 to 12:00:
• Every weekend, from 5 December 2026 to 4 April 2027
• Official Swiss school holidays:
Christmas: 24 December 2026 to 10 January 2027
Carnival: 8 February to 21 February 2027
Easter: 29 March to 4 April 2027

Time and meeting point?
At the top of the Savoleyres gondola, SUD sector. Training runs from 09:00 to 12:00. Look for the Ski Team Philippe Roux flag.
Getting up to the meeting point is the parents' responsibility: your child comes up on their own, with a valid lift pass.
Do we have to attend every training session?
Attendance is not compulsory. You are free to come whenever you like, on the dates in the season calendar.

Swiss-Ski licence?
The Swiss-Ski licence is included in the price of our packages, for every child signed up,
even if they never want to race. There is nothing more to pay and nothing to
arrange: we take care of it when you sign up.
Our club is affiliated to Swiss-Ski as an official ski club.
Which insurance is required?
Your child must be covered by accident insurance, health insurance and private liability insurance for the whole duration of the service.
We strongly recommend additional cover such as SnowAssist, as well as Rega or Air Glacier membership, since search and rescue costs are generally not covered by basic insurance.
Is the lift pass included?
No. A lift pass is compulsory and remains the parents' responsibility, as do meals, transport and personal equipment.
Can I cancel or move a booking?
For an à la carte booking (morning, weekend, holiday week, workshop, winter camp), cancelling or
moving is free of charge up to 4 days (96 hours) before the start. Between 96 and 24 hours
before, half the amount remains due. Less than 24 hours before, or if the child does not turn
up, the full amount is due.
For the season, your written cancellation must reach us at the latest 30 days before the
first session to give rise to a credit note, less whatever we have already committed (licence,
jacket, race entries).
In case of injury or illness, on presentation of a medical certificate, we issue a credit
note pro rata to the sessions still to come.

The jacket
Club jacket?
Jackets are lent to the children free of charge for one season. They are returned at the end of the season to be cleaned and serviced, then passed on to another child the following season. That way everyone has a jacket in their size, looked after every season.
The jacket is returned clean and in normal condition no later than two weeks after the last session of the current season. If it is not returned within that time, or is lost or damaged beyond normal wear, an amount of CHF 390.– incl. VAT, corresponding to the replacement value of the jacket, is invoiced to the Client. The same applies to any other equipment provided by the Team.
When we hand the jacket over, we give you a short document noting the wear marks already
there. Send it back dated and signed within five days: it is what we compare against when the
jacket comes back.
How do I wash my ski jacket?
Machine wash the jacket at 30 °C on a delicate cycle, with the zips and velcro closed, using a liquid detergent.
Do not use fabric softener, bleach or stain remover: they damage the water-repellent finish. Do not tumble dry and do not iron the jacket; let it air dry away from direct heat.
Washing that does not follow these instructions can damage the jacket; any resulting damage is charged to the Client (art. 5.2 of the terms and conditions).
