Founded in 2008 by Philippe Roux, in partnership with the Verbier Swiss Ski School.
Founded in 2008, the Ski Team is a project Philippe Roux holds close to his heart. A legendary figure in Verbier and in Swiss skiing, with 7 World Cup podiums and 4th place in the downhill at the Innsbruck Olympics, Philippe is not one to rest on his record.
Today he is driven by one thing above all: passing it on. He puts all his experience and passion at the service of young skiers, guiding the Ski Team with warmth and high standards.
Head of the Ski Team, he has been teaching skiing at the Verbier Swiss Ski School since the 2012/2013 season. Trained at the École Hôtelière de Lausanne and passionate about the mountains, he obtained his Federal Diploma in 2025. He welcomes your children to the Ski Team with real enthusiasm, to share his love of the mountains and his experience with them.
Runs the Ski Team and has been an instructor at the Verbier Swiss Ski School for several years. He is now studying business at HEC Lausanne. A tennis enthusiast in summer, a mountain lover in winter and a keen kitesurfer. Qualified by Swiss Snowsports, he is looking forward to sharing his expertise with you.

Founded in 1933 by five instructors from the village, the ESSV remains the reference school on the mountain, and it is with them that we run the Challenges Philippe Roux at Savoleyres every winter. A Ski Team partner since 2008, it trains our instructors and gives the children the fundamentals they come and build on with us.

The Savoleyres and Bruson stadiums would not exist without Promoski. Since 1970, this association has built them and brought them to the standard we know today. Philippe Roux chairs it and the Ski Team is a member. Thanks to them, the race stadiums are open to us all season long, for training and for racing.
None of this would be possible without Téléverbier, born in 1950 with the Médran chairlift. It is their teams who give us ideal conditions on the slopes, and their snowcats that shape the features we need for training and for racing. We also owe them the stadium infrastructure. Our thanks go to them.

In 1974, aged 21, Philippe Roux opened his shop in the heart of Verbier. Half a century later he is still there to welcome his customers. You will find alpine and touring skiing in winter, trail running and tennis in summer, and a workshop where the Team has its equipment sharpened. Drop by and say hello!
